Will You Miss Me When I'm Gone?

It seems like I go through this every year. There's always a friend who, once they are in a relationship, can't seem to find time for anyone except their significant other. I've never understood this. I personally find time for everyone in my life whether I'm in a relationship or not.

I see nothing wrong with wanting to spend as much time as possible with your boyfriend/girlfriend. It just seems like you would also want to make time to spend with your friends. The people that are there for you when you're at your lowest low.

I can't stand people that get a bf/gf, and they never seem to make time for you. It's like you drop off the face of the earth, and they only call you when they need you...or when their bf/gf does something wrong. Where they do that at? Haha

I cannot imagine treating my real friends the way some of my "friends" in the past have treated me. I've never put one person in my life over another. Yes, there are times when you can't spread yourself too thin. You have to choose who you want to spend your time on. However, you shouldn't lose touch with someone you consider a real friend. You risk losing that person forever.

I lost one of the best friends I ever had 2 years ago. I hadn't spoken to him in a year, and I found out through the grapevine that he had passed away. After that, I've done everything I can to keep in touch with all of my friends. Some haven't reciprocated, but there's nothing I can do about those people. I just have to keep moving forward. There have been a lot of "friends" I've had to forget about, because they weren't true friends in the end.

All I know is you don't know what you've got til it's gone. You better cherish the people that come into your life and are there for you no matter what. The friends that let you be yourself and don't judge you. They just listen and give advice when you ask.

They love you for who you really are.

I'm just sayin! :)
