I remember August 25, 2001, like it was yesterday. It was the day before school started up and I woke up early for no real reason and turned on the tv. The first thing I saw on the news was that Aaliyah had died in a plane crash. I cried for hours, days, and I still cry every time I see the footage. I can't believe you're gone. You were an angel on earth and one of the greatest entertainers of my time.
